Back Pain and Bank Balance.

One of the key concepts for managing back pain successfully, is to understand the idea of Bank Balance. The amount of work/aggravation the back will tolerate before a flare-up occurs.

Just as with a regular bank balance we need to balance withdrawals (aggravating movements and postures) and deposits (spinal maintenance and exercises).

Build a bank balance that not only covers the needs of what you want to do (pain free day-to-day or big enough for sport and training), but also build and maintain some extra as safety buffer to cover the unexpected.
