If your MRI comes back as “normal”, then why do you have back pain?
The answer lies in understanding the Panjabi model of spinal stability. We can have problems in the active, passive or neurological sub-systems that can result in back pain.
An MRI can only show some potential issues, and should only be used as PART of a thorough investigation.
A full investigation will also examine the postures and movements that aggravate your pain, while also identifying what your muscles and nervous are doing in response to that pain.
