A simple exercise that can provide almost instant relief from a sore back.
BE WARNED: This will not work for everybody, so be careful and if in doubt, seek advice from a medial professional first.
You need a firm, smooth foam roller and bit of floor space. Starting in all fours position, gently lower yourself onto the roller and hunt for some tight spots.
Once you find one, keep the roller still and begin moving your heal up and down in a smooth motion, this will help relieve any tight spots you find. Perform 2 minutes on each leg and see if your back tightness has eased.
The real long-term solution will be to find out why the legs are tight, which requires some investigation.
