Its been a great day today.

Three lessons for today:

  1. The focus and determination of my clients is always a pleasant surprise – Thanks to Jo Button for that!
  2. Ten sets of front squats will make your legs, heart, head and soul stronger.
  3. The growing awareness of the impact of our diet on our health is finally moving in the right direction:

William Li explains how here:

and Nick Mitchell discusses some more points here:

It’s been a manic couple of weeks, getting the fit-4-golf and the fit-4-football projects online, but we are very close and very exciteted about both projects. More news coming in the next few days!

In the meantime here is the video to showcase Ritchie Edworthy’s awesome results over his 12 week transformation:

Another great week of training with my clients is over.

Ritchie Edworthy is doing superbly – 2 stone lost sine March, bodyfat % from 23.3% to 13%

Andy Poole is also doing extremely well – 2lbs of fat lost in 5 days!

Videos and pictures of both to come very soon!

I’m using a twice a day resistance program at the moment for my training, just about to finish the second week.  The first week was very tough – felt very drained! but feel awesome on it this week. The aim to get bigger and leaner at the same time!

I hope you all have a great weekend and make the most of the sun!

Massive well done to Josh Green for last Friday’s weigh-in – he’s gained 3lb of lean muscle and dropped 2% bodyfat in two weeks!

I’m looking forward to seeing Andy Poole’s weigh-in results this Friday – I predict a massive shift in body composition on the path towards 8% bodyfat.

Ritchie is still doing well – looking to get him back on track this week with the start of a new training cycle and again the march towards 8% bodyfat!
I’ve put myself onto the same programme as both Ritchie and Andy – so that in 12 weeks all three of us will look in awesome shape!

blueI’ve just read a great article by Dr Byran Walsh, featured on www.precisionnutrition.com

It discusses Neurodegeneration – the slow degeneration of our brains as we age – and how best to slow down the process as an anti-aging approach.

You can find the article here: www.precisionnutrition.com/healthy-brain

Landing on Liberty Island!

Landing on Liberty Island!

Apologies for the lack of posts over the past couple of weeks -  a busy Christmas period and then a much needed holiday to New York have swallowed my time.

New York was fantastic! I reccomend it to anyone.  On Saturday I managed to visit Liberty Island, the Empire State building and finish the day off with ice skating at the Rockerfella centre. Magic.

I am back now and ready to kickstart 2010 into gear!

Friday Inspirations will also be back on schedule, starting this week with a look at Paul Chek.
