THE FOOTBALL BOOTCAMP

For a good footballer to become a great footballer you need strength on the ball, speed, agility and the mental determination to overcome challanges.

The Bootcamp training sessions are designed to make the most of your potential as a player, by improving your athletic abilities and fitness levels.

What is the Football Bootcamp?

The bootcamp is a number of sessions run over the summer months (May to September), with the sole aim of improving fitness levels ready for next season.

Sessions are available to adult players (over 16) and also to members of the general public who want to build an awesome level of fitness.

The sessions will focus on improving speed, agility, power and cardiovascular fitness through speed indurance, sprint and interval training.

Where is the Football Bootcamp?

Sessions will be run from the playing fields at the back of Decoy park, located on Coach Rd. Click here to see a map

I can also provide on site sessions for football teams with their own facilities if preferred.

What is Speed and Agility Training?

Speed and Agility training is desgined to improve your athletic performance in a practical way, allowing you to apply your improved fitness to the game.

Using cone, ladder, sprint, hurdle and flexi-cord drills I can help you to develop your speed, spatial awarness, reactions and footwork.

This will improve your abilities to run, jump, change direction, chase the ball, tackle, run with the ball and shoot.
